Classical Pilates Workshop with Brooke Siler, Michael Fritzke & Ton Voogt

May 26-31 | Gdynia, Poland

Led by Brooke Siler, Michael Fritzke, and Ton Voogt, this workshop is dedicated to recreating the atmosphere of Romana Kryzanowska’s New York City studio in the 1990s — honoring the way she uniquely taught the work.

This immersive experience continues the spirit of the October conference, Pilates from the Elders, in a more focused and personal format.

Michael, Ton, and Brooke will share their collective experiences of their extraordinary teacher and mentor, Romana — personally named by Joseph Pilates as his “most conscientious student,” and entrusted with carrying his work forward.

The Classical Romana Experience: A Classical Pilates Workshop Honoring Romana’s Legacy

  • Delve deeply into the Pilates exercises as they were taught at Romana’s studio throughout the 1990s

  • Experience variations and system progressions unique to Romana’s teaching — including lesser-known exercises rarely seen today

  • View personal photos and videos from their time with Romana, gaining insight into her philosophy, her stories of Joseph, and the unmistakable joy she brought to work

  • Develop a clearer understanding of the underpinnings of Classical Pilates — where it began and why it stands apart

The program includes extensive practice, observation, and both individual and group sessions, fostering an environment of shared study and authentic transmission.

This is more than a workshop. It is an opportunity to step into the lineage and experience the work as it was lived, taught, and preserved.
