Heritage: In the 1960s Gratz became the first manufacturer of Pilates apparatus, made to Joseph Pilates’ design specifications. Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ protégé and chosen successor, relied exclusively on Gratz apparatus for her studios and training programs.
