Anthony Rabara at Pilates Body Shaping

Instructor assisting a student on the Gratz Pilates Wunda Chair

June 20th | Charlotte, North Carolina

Join Master Teacher Anthony Rabara, a distinguished instructor of the Classical Pilates method since 1983 and a senior teacher within Romana’s Pilates lineage. Anthony began his journey in 1979 following a dance-related injury and was rehabilitated through the Pilates method. He was then personally invited by Romana Kryzanowska, Joseph Pilates’ successor, to assist in teaching.

Learn Classical Pilates Teaching from a First-Generation Instructor

One of the original eight instructors certified in the Pilates method in the mid-1980s, Anthony participated in Romana’s landmark certification process, which documented the complete Pilates syllabus on videotape. Over his decades-long career, he has contributed extensively to the Pilates community, including leading support work with fibromyalgia groups and collaborating with wellness practitioners and certified Pilates studios nationwide.

Anthony continues to teach within Romana’s Pilates International, Inc. and trains apprentices in the Teacher Certification Program. His studio, Anthony Rabara Pilates, is based in Princeton, New Jersey.

This workshop is intended for RPI apprentices and instructors exclusively.
