About Lisa Paterson
From a sports background originally, Lisa Paterson spent her early career within the fitness industry. She studied Sports Coaching and Development before moving into gym-based training, gaining accreditation in Personal Training and Nutrition. She later worked as Fitness Manager of a health club in Ayrshire.
Her introduction to Pilates came through injury rehabilitation, following advice from an osteopath to address muscular imbalances and rebuild strength. The practice had a strong impact on her recovery and physical wellbeing, leading her to shift careers and train as a Pilates instructor in Ayrshire.
