Danielle Rivera
Danielle Rivera is a Recruiter at Gratz Pilates, where she helps grow the team by connecting talented individuals with opportunities across manufacturing, operations, and other departments. With a background in human resources and talent acquisition, she focuses on building relationships, strengthening recruitment processes, and creating a positive experience for candidates joining Gratz.
Danielle has always been interested in the people behind an organization and the role they play in its success. A graduate of Rutgers University–New Brunswick, where she earned her degree in Human Resource Management, she gained early experience in talent acquisition through internships at Subaru of America and Advertising Specialty Institute. These opportunities helped her develop an understanding of recruitment, employee engagement, and the importance of finding the right fit between individuals and organizations.
Since joining Gratz in 2025, Danielle has had the opportunity to help grow the team during an exciting period of expansion. From getting to know the people and skills behind each department to connecting with candidates from different professional backgrounds, she enjoys learning what makes each role unique and helping others find their place within the company.
Danielle manages the hiring process across Gratz's manufacturing, quality assurance, and operations teams. She works closely with department leaders to understand their hiring needs, identify qualified candidates, coordinate interviews, and guide prospective employees through the recruitment process.
Beyond hiring, Danielle has helped strengthen Gratz's recruitment efforts by developing its employer presence on LinkedIn, building relationships with trade schools and educational programs, and introducing new ways to connect with prospective employees. She also supports new-hire orientation, helping employees become familiar with the company and its people as they begin their roles.
Through her work, Danielle helps bring together the individuals and skills that support Gratz's continued growth, with an emphasis on making the hiring experience welcoming, organized, and personal.
"What makes working at Gratz meaningful to me is our culture of growth. People here continually build their skills, deepen their product knowledge, and take on new opportunities, and I love watching their careers evolve over time. It’s especially rewarding when it’s someone I helped bring to the team. Being in recruitment, I get to connect people with their potential, and seeing their careers take shape is something I truly appreciate.”
"A fact I love telling people is that our craftsmanship goes beyond Pilates. Before we became the original maker of Pilates apparatus, we started in 1929 as Treitel-Gratz, a custom metal fabrication shop in New York City. One of our early projects was the interior metalwork for Radio City Music Hall!"
"I love the Electric Chair because of the design. To me, it is classic Gratz craftsmanship, blending many different areas of our production team into one: woodworkers, assembly, upholstery, and more. I also love the accessibility and purpose behind it, it’s user friendly for all Pilates levels, and gives a full-body exercise without straining joints."
