Nicholas Moore

Nicholas Moore is a CAD Specialist and Product Designer at Gratz Pilates, where he supports product development through technical design, 3D modeling, and prototyping. With a background in industrial design and experience bringing consumer products from concept to production, Nicholas combines creative thinking with technical expertise to help develop and refine Gratz apparatus.

Nicholas brings a background in industrial design, product development, and user-centered design to Gratz Pilates. Before joining Gratz, he worked as a Product Designer at Igloo, where he helped develop consumer products from initial concepts through commercial launch. His work involved everything from product research and 3D modeling to prototyping, testing, and collaborating with engineering and manufacturing teams to bring designs into production.

Beyond his experience at Igloo, Nicholas has worked as a freelance industrial and UX designer, partnering with clients to develop products and digital experiences that balance functionality, usability, and thoughtful design. His experience across physical and digital product development gives him a unique perspective on solving design challenges and turning ideas into practical solutions.

As a CAD Specialist and Product Designer, Nicholas works closely with Gratz's product development, engineering, and manufacturing teams to support the design and refinement of Classical Pilates apparatus. He brings experience in computer-aided design, 3D modeling, and prototyping to help translate product concepts into detailed designs that can be evaluated, tested, and prepared for production.

Drawing on his background in industrial design, Nicholas approaches product development with an understanding of how design decisions influence functionality, usability, and manufacturing. His work supports Gratz's ongoing efforts to refine existing apparatus and develop new products while remaining mindful of the original designs and principles that define Classical Pilates.

"I appreciate the team’s dedication to the product. As a product person, I care deeply about the tiny details and touchpoints that our customers experience. The details and the passion for the product are what makes a brand stand out from the competitive crowd, and that’s something I admire about the brand and the team."

"I wish more people knew just how difficult it is to create the products to such a high standard. There is an immense amount of communication, skill, craftsmanship, research, and patience that comes with it all."

"My favorite is the Reformer. As I'm new to Pilates, I've realized just how versatile it is and how difficult the exercises can be. It's a piece of equipment that you can start learning on and keep using it forever and you'll never get tired of it."
