September Apparatus of the Month Wrap-Up

This month, we celebrated the Studio Wall Unit and the range of work it makes possible.

Combining the Tower and High Mat in one apparatus, the Studio Wall Unit offers a broad range of exercises while making efficient use of floor space. Its wall-mounted design supports work that develops strength, mobility, stability, coordination, and control in a studio or at home.

The springs can be selected and positioned to suit the practitioner and the focus of each session. When someone is learning a new exercise, they can offer support and help clarify the movement. As strength, coordination, and confidence build, an instructor can adjust the setup to introduce a new challenge. Even a small change in spring tension, position, or direction can bring a fresh perspective to a familiar exercise.

September Spotlight: Pilates Jump Board

This upcoming October, we are celebrating the Jump Board, an accessory to the 86” and 89” Reformer. While it may appear simple in design, it opens up a multitude of possibilities for individual practice and studio classes. The Jump Board may just be the differentiator that allows your studio to stand out from competitors in the area.

We look forward to seeing how the Jump Board comes to life in your practice throughout the month of October. Share your movement, discoveries, and practice with the Gratz community by tagging @gratz_pilates and #apparatusofthemonth.
