Maintenance Provider Directory — Terms of Use

The Gratz Maintenance Provider Directory is a reference list of independent service businesses that have told us they work on Pilates apparatus, including our own. We publish it as a convenience to owners and studios who need service and do not know where to start. It is a starting point for your own inquiry, not a substitute for one.

Every provider listed is an independent business. No provider is an employee, agent, subcontractor, partner, franchisee, or authorized representative of Gratz Pilates, and no provider is authorized to make representations, promises, or commitments on our behalf. Gratz does not direct, supervise, schedule, price, inspect, or control any work a provider performs. 

About Maintenance Directory Listings

We speak with each applicant and contact the references they provide. Beyond that, inclusion in this directory is not a certification, accreditation, or warranty of any provider's qualifications, licensing, workmanship, pricing, timeliness, conduct, or results. We do not test providers or observe their work. Gratz makes no representation or warranty of any kind, express or implied, regarding any provider or any work a provider performs.

Insurance and credentials

Where a listing indicates "Proof of insurance," it means the provider supplied documentation of general liability coverage at the time they applied. We do not monitor policies for renewal, cancellation, coverage limits, or exclusions, and we do not verify business licensing, trade certifications, bonding, or workers' compensation coverage. Before any provider works on your apparatus or enters your premises, request a current certificate of insurance.

Your Relationship with the Provider

Any engagement you enter into with a provider is solely between you and that provider. Scope of work, pricing, scheduling, payment terms, parts and materials, guarantees, cancellations, insurance claims, and disputes are matters between you and the provider. Gratz is not a party to that agreement, receives no fee or commission from it, and has no role in resolving disputes arising from it.

Maintenance Service and Gratz Warranty

Service performed by a directory provider is not Gratz service and does not extend, transfer, or modify any Gratz warranty. Routine maintenance does not affect your Gratz Pilates warranty. Modifications to the apparatus, and repairs using parts not supplied by Gratz, may void coverage on the affected apparatus. Providers source their own parts and materials unless you direct otherwise; Gratz does not supply, inspect, or approve materials used by directory providers. Genuine Gratz parts can be ordered from us directly.  

Maintenance Listing Details 

Service areas, travel range, services offered, contact details, and insurance status is supplied by the provider and is accurate only as of the date it was submitted. It may become outdated without notice. We do not independently audit listing content, and we are not responsible for errors or omissions in it. If you find an inaccurate listing, please contact us.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gratz Pilates is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, cost, delay, or claim of any kind arising out of or related to your use of this directory or your engagement of any provider listed in it, including damage to apparatus or property, personal injury, business interruption, and consequential or incidental damages. Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so parts of this section may not apply to you.

Directory Listings and Removal

Listing is at our sole discretion. We may decline an application, edit a listing, or remove a provider at any time, with or without notice and without giving a reason. Removal from the directory is not a statement about the provider's conduct or competence, and continued listing is not a statement that no concerns exist.

Report a Problem 

If you have a problem with a provider, raise it with the provider first — they are the party who can resolve it. We do want to hear about it as well, because it informs whether a listing stays up, but we cannot mediate, adjudicate, or compensate. Contact customer care
