She later spent 21 years as a Senior Production Manager at Cardone Industries, where she planned production schedules, implemented Lean cell concepts, and facilitated Kaizen initiatives to improve manufacturing processes and operational efficiency.
Through these roles, Carmen developed a thorough understanding of production systems and the coordination required to keep people, materials, and schedules aligned.

Her detail-oriented and hands-on approach helps teams address production challenges, identify opportunities for improvement, and keep the manufacturing of Gratz apparatus moving efficiently.
"Gratz Pilates company is meaningful to me because I know the work we do directly improves people's physical health, mental well-being, and quality of life. Unlike standard gym equipment made of mass-produced plastic and steel, our high-quality Pilates apparatuses are built like fine musical instruments-requiring absolute precision, durability, and a deep understanding of Joseph Pilates original designs."
"Well, working at Gratz is not just a job for our manufacturing team members- it is their career development structured for continuous growth trajectories. Our employees constantly sharpen their professional capabilities."
"My favorite is Guillotine. I'm 5'7 and the open frame design is often more accommodating and accessible for me. Upright and hanging exercises decompress the spine and build deep muscle tone which I enjoy. The vertical sliding bar allows you to safely articulate stretching and mobilize the back in ways that stretch my hips and shoulders. "
