Shipping, Handling, and Pick Up for Gratz Pilates Products

Due to the confluence of the recent U.S. government shutdown, inclement weather in shipping hubs, and the holidays, international shipping is currently experiencing delays. 

Production timelines remain under 3 months, but Gratz cannot guarantee international delivery timelines due to these circumstances.


Getting exactly what you need, where and how you need it is important to us. Please see the important details below.
 

Shipping costs are based on location and shipping method. If you need to change your delivery method or address let us know and we will send an updated shipping estimate. 

Note - Team members involved in the delivery of your Gratz Pilates apparatus are not licensed Pilates equipment technicians. They are not qualified to assemble your new Gratz Pilates apparatus. You can assemble your equipment yourself or hire a local professional in your area.

Shipping to an address within the USA

Three shipping options for shipments within the USA 

Instant shipping quotes available now for orders up to $15K for CA, CO, FL, MA, NC, NJ, NY, PA, TX, VA. Instant shipping quotes provide the most competitive rates available. Shipping rates improve as your order total increases — rate breaks at $2K, $5K, and $10K.

  • Standard (curbside) delivery

    Standard (curbside) is delivery to the first dry area outside the business or residence. You are responsible for bringing parcels into your place of business or residence, unpacking, installation/assembly, and disposal of packing materials.

  • FedEx Delivery 

    Delivery is handled through FedEx for smaller apparatus and accessory orders such as the Wunda Chair, Pedi Pole, Spine Corrector, Mini Barrel, Low Folding Mat, and Small Parts. This service functions similarly to an Amazon-style drop-off and does not require a freight quote or scheduled appointment. 

    For orders over $500, a signature is required upon delivery to ensure your shipment is received securely. 

  • Threshold delivery

    Threshold delivery is more convenient than Standard (curbside) delivery because it brings the delivery inside the main entrance of the residence or business.  

    If the final address is an apartment, the delivery will be placed inside the main entrance of your apartment complex, garage, or dock. The carrier will not deliver directly to your apartment door or place the order inside an elevator.

    You are responsible for unpacking, installation/assembly of equipment and disposal of packaging materials.

  • White Glove delivery 

    White Glove delivery is the most convenient shipping option because the delivery is brought into the room of choice (additional charges apply for stairs), unpacked, and trash removal of packaging materials.  

    You are responsible for assembly.

Shipping to an address outside of the USA (International)

Five shipping options for international shipments 

  • Air Freight delivery

    Air Freight delivery is available for international orders outside the European Union. Your order will be shipped to the airport specified on your invoice, which was shared with you by our Customer Care team. Customers are responsible for customs clearance, transport from the airport, and unpacking or installation.

    Note: Air Freight and Ocean Freight delivery is not offered for EU and UK customers, as Gratz now operates as a registered EU and UK entity and provides direct-to-door delivery.

  • Air Freight Standard (Curbside) delivery 

    Standard (curbside) is delivery to the first dry area outside the business or residence. You are responsible for bringing parcels into your place of business or residence, unpacking, installation/assembly, and disposal of packing materials.

  • International FedEx Delivery 

    Delivery is handled through FedEx for smaller apparatus and accessory orders such as the Wunda Chair, Pedi Pole, Spine Corrector, Mini Barrel, Low Folding Mat, and Small Parts. This service functions similarly to an Amazon-style drop-off and does not require a freight quote or scheduled appointment.

  • Air Freight Threshold delivery

    Air Freight Threshold is delivered inside the main entrance of your business or home with the support of trusted Gratz Forwarding Partner. If the final address is an apartment, the delivery will be placed inside the main entrance of your apartment complex, garage, or dock. The carrier will not deliver directly to your apartment door or place the order inside an elevator. You are responsible for coordinating customs clearance, and unpacking, installation/assembly, and disposal of packing materials. This service is more convenient than standard Air Freight, but also more costly.

  • Air Freight White Glove delivery

    Air Freight White Glove delivery is the most convenient shipping option because the delivery is brought into the room of choice (additional charges apply for stairs), unpacked, and trash removal of packaging materials. This service is more convenient than standard Air Freight, but also more costly.

    You are responsible for assembly.

  • Ocean Freight Delivery (Full-Container Orders Only) 

    For large, flexible-timing orders, Ocean Freight is available. Delivery is to the nearest international port or container freight station. You are responsible for pickup from the port, transport, unpacking, and setup. 

    Transit times typically range from 3–6 months, depending on global conditions. Ocean Freight is available for large orders only.  

    Please note that Ocean Freight is not available for Mexico and Canada.

Customs and Import Charges for International Shipments

European Union and United Kingdom Customers

Gratz has officially registered as an EU and UK Entity, making the ordering process simpler for customers across the EU and UK.

If you have an activated business VAT number:

  • You will not be charged VAT.
  • Your order will be delivered directly to your door (not via airport or seaport).
  • Duty charges will still apply and will be clearly listed on your Gratz invoice.
  • Gratz will handle customs clearance on your behalf for a smoother delivery experience.

If you do not have an activated business VAT number:

  • VAT and duty will be included on your Gratz invoice.
  • You’ll see the full, transparent cost upfront, with no additional payments upon delivery.
  • Your order will be delivered directly to your door, with customs managed by Gratz.

VAT Number vs EORI Number

A VAT number is used to identify businesses for tax purposes within the European Union and United Kingdom. 

Gratz requires your activated business VAT number to process orders without charging VAT and to correctly apply VAT exemptions.

An EORI number is used by importers or exporters to track customs activities within the EU and UK. While some businesses may have an EORI number for importing goods, Gratz only needs your activated VAT number to complete your order and manage VAT exemptions.

International Customers (Outside the EU and UK)

For all other international regions, including Asia, the Middle East, Australia, and South America:

  • Orders may be subject to import taxes or duties determined by your local customs agency.
  • Payment of these fees is the responsibility of the recipient and separate from your Gratz Pilates order.
  • These charges are typically collected by the local customs agency at the time of delivery.
  • For specific details, please contact your local customs office.

Delivery Tracking


Delivery tracking link is emailed soon after shipments are in route for delivery.
 

Orders are shipped on business days only, Monday-Friday, excluding US federal holidays.  

Pick up On-Site from Fulfillment Center in Philadelphia


Available upon request. The Gratz Pilates team member who finalizes your order with you can provide the invoice for the $250 cost for On-site Pick up. In addition, an 8% tax is required by the city of Philadelphia on all on-site pick-up orders. Note, this does not shorten the manufacturing time for your order. 

Assembly

Team members involved in the delivery of your Gratz Pilates apparatus are not licensed Pilates equipment technicians. They are not qualified to assemble your new Gratz Pilates apparatus. You can assemble your equipment yourself or hire a local professional in your area.
